Two albums mixed, one mastered

After a busy period in Germany, the recordings and mixes of Annie Mary (Annemarie Bron) are done and ready to be mastered! Meanwhile, I also mixed the album of Mirna's Fling and mastered it. This cd will be released in may.

From sunday the 21st of februari, Annemarie Bron will record her debut album in Schoppingen, Germany. I was asked as a producer/mixing engineer. 10 songs with an extensive line-up within a week time. Abitious but very cool!
New Folk Rock project 'Stormsterk' officially launched

Beside Faelwa, Mark Kwint and me are busy with our Folk Rock project Stormsterk.
Influenced by Scandinavian, Dutch and Irish folk muusic, we play energetic, melodic, emotional and happy songs.
Vurrently, there are two songs on our MySpace!

Singer-singwriter Arjan Hoekstra approached me for the mixing of his new album. The album contains approximately 10 songs and will be released under his artist name Mirna's Fling.

Bachelor of Music

After four years of study at the ArtEZ School of Music I got my Bachelor of Music title in the dirction MediaMusic with the profile Music Producer & Studio Engineer.
For everyone who was present at the presentation, thanks a lot!! Hereby I provide the extra gimmick as I promised.

It is done. The official Faelwa MySpace is online. We're still busy working on some final tweaks in the mixing of the m-cd 'Farewell Sun'. A provisional mix is already present on the MySpace. However, we already are very contented.
Echo, de film: public première on the 14th of june!

Drum recordings Faelwa in Excess

In the past few days the drums for the Faelwa demo have been recorded. For the recordings we went to Excess Studios Rotterdam. Arjan Hoekstra was the man for the job. Within a day, two songs have been recorded. The remaining parts will be recorded soon.
